God's Word

Keep me in Your Word so that I can be encouraged and be an encourager to those around me. - Tracy Klehn

Is this really from you?

God will never tell you to do something that is in disagreement with His Word. When you feel that you are "hearing" from God, test it against the Word. Ask God in prayer, "Is this really from you? Please show me clearly in the Bible what the truth is." - Tracy Klehn

Someone Else

There's no better place to be than in someone else's prayers. - Tracy Klehn

Show Up

Life is made up of big milestones and little moments. Friends who show up for both are friends whose hearts are knit together. Your presence matters. - Tracy Klehn, Growing Friendships

Remain Fixed on Him

Being aware of the battle and being obsessed with the battle are two very different things. Be alert to the enemy, but remain fixed on Christ. When we focus on anything (a problem, a fear, our fiances, a relationship) too intently, everything else can fade away. Pray today that Jesus would be at the center of your focus and that he would develop in you a healthy balance for the battle at hand. - Tracy Klehn

Wounded Healers

Henri Nouwen says that we are all "wounded healers," inferring that we all have the most potential to heal others in the areas in which we ourselves have needed and experienced healing. This spiritual principle is captured in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4: Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. - Tracy Klehn

Praying for Friends

Prayer connects hearts like nothing else I know. When we pray for our friends we are drawing them into the presence of our heavenly Father, shielding them from the evils of the world, loving them by holding them close in spirit. - Tracy Klehn, Growing Friendships

Trust

Tracy Klehn

Trust me, God whispered.
Trust me with all your heart even if it doesn't make sense to you.
